The LDH Scissors Midnight Edition Tailor's Shears are an industrial-grade professional tool. They are handcrafted by a scissor master and are insured by the 10-year warranty.
These are the 9" shears, slightly lighter in weight and possibly easier to manage for those of us with small hands.
Handcrafted from heavy-duty industrial grade high carbon steel with a black anti-rust coating.
The blades are slightly concave and perfectly aligned to allow them to cut through thick layers effortlessly.
They can cut through multiple layers of fabric, leather, fleece, vinyl, denim, plastics, kevlar, and other dense materials.
These fabric shears would make and incredible gift, please let me know if you'd like these to be gift wrapped if sending them direct to someone else.

A+R is owned and operated by passionate creative Katrina Hope, from her small rural studio located in regional Victoria, Australia.
The name A+R comes from her daughters names, Arlo + Remi.
A+R was established in 2018 with the mission for the business being to offer the highest quality fabrics with a strong focus on natural fibres.

Our love of working with and wearing natural fibres is reflected in the collection.
We strives to provide the sewing community an interesting range of fabrics that can only be found here.
Where is A+R?
The A+R Studio is located in beautiful regional Victoria, to the North East of Melbourne.
At this stage we are only online, but do have plans to open the studio for occasional visits.
Order collection is available with prior communication with Katrina.

Placing your first online order?
Ordering from a new store, or placing your first online fabric order can feel a little risky!
A+R Fabrics strives to create an easy + enjoyable shopping experience, whether it's your first of tenth order with us.
We've tried to include as much information about each fabric as possible, but we welcome any questions you may have about project suitability, etc.
We offer swatches as a way of viewing our collection prior to purchase.
Swatches
We offer free swatches to AU + NZ customers so that you can check out our fabrics in person.
This way you can check the colour, weight, handfeel and even run the swatch under your sewing machine to ensure it's going to be the right choice for you project.
Swatches are avaiable to friends in other areas - the website will charge a small fee to cover postage.
Order Fulfilment
A+R is a micro sized (sole operator) business which means our fulfilment times can be a little longer than some of our friends in the Industry.
The current fulfilment time is 2-3 business days.
