Details: Up your denim game with our beautiful Japanese selvedge denim!  Featuring a traditional cream / red selvedge on both sides.  The words selvedge denim relates to the words self-edge – or self finished edges of fabric.  The edges of the denim are used in the jean construction. The edges don't unravel, so with the light pattern, your jeans will stitch up relatively quickly given you don't need to finish those edges as it's already don!

Selvedge Denim is characterised by its firm, often striped and always neat selvedge. It is woven on traditional hand looms and is narrow compared to modern denim yardage.  Selvedge denims often take a lot longer to create given they are woven on traditional looms, hence they are often more expensive than other denim options.
